At a young age the members of The Dan Benton Band knew that music would be an important part of their lives. Many artists will tell you that religious hymns are often the foundation and inspiration that led them to enter the musical world. The story is no different for The Dan Benton Band. Ten years ago Eric, Colter and Dan began playing together at their local congregation, unaware that the path they were about to walk down would eventually lead them to a form a group with two additional highly talented musicians. In early 2011, through the encouragement of family and friends, these five Boone and Marion County, Arkansas natives decided to put their talents together and create a sound they could be proud of and formed The Dan Benton Band. The band is comprised of Dan Benton, lead vocals and guitar; Eric Williams, guitar; Josh Still, guitar; Colter Sullivan, bass guitar; and Rick Watson, drums.
Influenced by performers from Christian, Country and Rock ‘N Roll, the Dan Benton Band will be a crowd pleaser as they perform songs from classic and current country and mix in a little rock and blues as well. These guys strive for perfection every time they take the stage and will impress you with the quality of their music.
